Vendor Terms and Conditions

It is a condition of applying to be a vendor at the Oz Feline Fair & Catstravaganza (OFF & C) that you read and consent to all the terms and conditions listed below. Booking a vendor stall
  1. Application does not guarantee a vendor space at the OFF & C. Vendor space is not guaranteed until space is confirmed, and payment has been made.
  2. Once approved, Vendors will be sent an invoice with a date of payment. Failure to pay this fee by the due date will result in the Vendor losing their Vendor Space at the OFF & C.
  3. Please note that once payment is made and your vendor space is confirmed, there are no refunds if you cancel. There are no transfers or rollover of credit for the next event date. Written notification of non-attendance is required. Please contact us ASAP if for some reason you cannot attend. 
  4. A vendor’s space and ordered equipment is only guaranteed once payment has been supplied in full. Any additional Tables and Chairs requested after this point will be subject to availability.
  5. Stalls cannot be transferred, sublet, franchised or sold to any other person, nor can they be shared without written approval from OFF & C management. 
Setting up and packing down and presentation of vendor stalls
  1. The OFF & C and the venue will not take delivery of such items on behalf of a Vendor unless prior arrangements have been made. Please note that all goods and property must be removed from the premises at the close of the event on Sunday evening.
  2. For the OFF & C and the venue will not accept responsibility for the safety or well-being of any display or product item delivered to the site. It is very important that all items are clearly marked with your company name and table number(s).
  3. A forklift and/or palette jack will not be available at the OFF & C.
  4. Vendor stalls can be left set up overnight within the vendor village area of the venue. Please remove any valuable items overnight for your peace of mind. While the venue will be secured overnight and there is 24 hour security, the OFF & C or the venue is not responsible for any items left overnight.
  5. All Vendors are to act in the interest of the OFF & C and therefore take no action that will detract from or draw attendees away from the venue. 
  6. All portable equipment, appliances, chargers, or the lighting used at the OFF & C (i.e. anything that is plugged into the venue power supply) must be tested and tagged in accordance with state Workplace Health and Safety Regulations and the Australian Standard. All power extension leads and power boards must also hold current tagging. The use of double adaptors is prohibited. 
  7. Arrangements must be made with your nominated electrician prior to the event for the purpose of testing and tagging all electrical items and leads. Test & Tag conducted by the OFF & C contracted electrician during bump-in will incur a cost of $150 which will be charged directly to the Vendor at the time of service. Any electrical equipment found to be untagged must be tested and tagged or removed from the venue immediately.
  8. No early pack-up of your stall is permitted. Vendors are not to commence pack down on Sunday afternoon until the doors are closed and all visitors have left the building.
  9. All Vendors must ensure that their displays do not obstruct the flow of traffic around or through their allocated space. Displays must be removed or relocated upon request by OFF & C or the venue staff. Equipment such as display boards or clothing racks may be brought in by the Vendor.
  10. Vendors are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean & tidy. Boxes & cartons must be removed from the venue floor. 
  11. Any damage caused by the Vendor, their Staff, or by items affixed to the venue doors, glass, floors, or walls that create a removal, cleaning and/or resurfacing cost will be charged to the Vendor.
  12. Any stallholder found confronting or intimidating another stallholder for any reason will be asked to leave immediately. This type of behaviour will not be tolerated. 
  13. No explicit or R rated artworks are to be displayed or sold at the OFF & C. Please remember that this is a family friendly event!
  14. The sale or display of any material prohibited or restricted under Australian legislation is not permitted, including any items deemed weapons, Bootleg items or material violating copyright laws and Substances and Devices that are illegal under Commonwealth legislation.
  15. Vendors must not sell food or beverages of any kind, unless pre-approved by OFF & C.
  16. Any Vendor in possession of the items listed above will be asked to have them removed from the premises. In serious occurrences, OFF & C reserves the right to have the vendor ejected from the venue and banned from further OFF events.
  17. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure they conform to any Australian standards, ACCC, pertaining to their product. OFF & C will not be held accountable for any trademark, copyright or safety infringement.
  18. Loud product promotion or spruiking by vendors is not permitted at OFF & C events. Loud and creative displays are encouraged!
  19. The vendor must have read and understood the mandatory safety standards applicable to their products and labelling. 
Compliance
  1. OFF & C has the right to withdraw an offer to trade at any time if vendor terms and conditions have been breached. 
  2. OFF & C has the right to reject any vendor whom they believe does not comply with the stated regulations above.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted, OFF & C does not accept (and will not have) any liability to the Vendor for costs, losses or damages which might be suffered by the Vendor or by any other person through participation in the OFF & C and hereby releases OFF & C from and against all claims, demands, actions, damages, costs, charges and expenses or other liabilities whatsoever that may be made, brought against, suffered, sustained or incurred by the Vendor arising out of or in connection with the Vendor’s participation in the event in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  4. No amendment or variation to this Agreement will be binding on the parties unless made in writing and signed by each of the parties.
