Terms and Conditions of All Ticket Holders 

including Cat Exhibitors, Vendors, Staff, Volunteers, Media and all Public.

  1. The management of Oz Feline Fair is CatJAC Events Pty Ltd.
  2. All persons entering any of Oz Feline Fair venues across Australia do so at their own risk. Everyone must follow all reasonable directions and requests given by the Venue and Oz Feline Fair management including Staff, Security and Volunteers.
  3. Entry will be refused to any person without a scannable ticket.
  4. Oz Feline Fair Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with reasonable requests. This includes high risk behaviour to oneself. Intoxication, aggressive or anti-social behaviour is unacceptable and will result in ejection from the venue. Those ejected from the venue will not be re-admitted to the event and tickets will not be refunded.
  5. No persons are to engage in any conduct, act towards or speak to any cat exhibitor, vendor, performer, supplier, staff or other person in a manner which offends, insults, humiliates, intimidates, threatens, disparages or vilifies that other person on the basis of that other person’s race, religion, colour, gender, sexuality, disability, descent or national or ethnic origin. Any alleged behaviour resulting in a criminal matter will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities including (State/Federal Police) along with any supporting details and/or documents presented to Oz Feline Fair from those reporting and/or those being reported. This includes both pre, during and post fair. 
  6. All persons within the venue must abide by the Oz Feline Fair Code of Conduct. 
  7. Oz Feline Fair Management and Venue Staff reserve the right to inspect all bags upon entering and exiting the venue.
  8. No pets or animals are allowed other than designated guide or assistance animals.  This excludes registered Cat Exhibitors in the CATstravaganza and approved registered Rescue Cat Exhibitors or Oz Feline Fair approved and invited Cat Influencers.
  9. All visitors at the Oz Feline Fair & CATstravaganza events are requested to not touch any cats without the owner’s or handlers expressed consent.  Following the recommendations of the cat owner or handler please use hand sanitizer as provided.  No food or drink is allowed to be given to any cat under any circumstances. 
  10. All persons are required to take direction from Event Staff or Cat Owners/Handlers/Cat Show Manager at all times within the cat area.
  11. Anyone under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
  12. Refund and Returns: All entry tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for other tickets. All transactions are final. No refunds are permitted, except as required by law.  
  13. In the case of event cancellation, refunds will be provided to customers who purchased tickets for the cancelled events. 
  14. Oz Feline Fair and CatJAC Events Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel, re-schedule, relocate the Event or add, withdraw or substitute or vary advised programs, prices, venues and audience capacity at the Event without notice to you.
  15. All tickets are general admission entry and seating in Catstravaganza, Catwalk or seminar areas is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis unless otherwise noted or signed. This excludes VIP ticket holders who can sit in reserved VIP seating at any time.  Oz Feline Fair staff will oversee all areas to ensure that seats are vacated for VIP ticket holders in reserved allocated seating. 
  16. Room or venue capacity limits will be enforced, and you may be refused entry to a space until a time that capacity returns to safe levels.
  17. Oz Feline Fair is a drug and alcohol-free event. No alcohol or illicit drugs can be brought into and/or consumed within the venue. People found doing so will be removed from the event. Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking areas only. No smoking, or vapour apparatus are permitted to be used within the buildings or within 10 metres of doorways or access points, or in areas signed as no-smoking.
  18. Shoes must be worn at all times on the Exhibition Floor, in outdoor areas, seminar rooms or theatre spaces, unless part of the scheduled Cosplay Presentation and Competition and then only in the designated performance area during that presentation. No stilts, roller skates or Rollerblades are permitted in any area including performance spaces.
  19. People will not be permitted to bring any glass items or weapons into the venue. Prohibited items will be confiscated by Oz Feline Fair Management or Venue Staff and disposed of. Oz Feline Fair accepts no responsibility for confiscated items. 
  20. No commercial photography, filming or recording including photo studio type setups, such as tripods and flash instruments and backdrops on show floor, foyers or within Oz Feline Fair boundaries are permitted without prior permission from fair organisers. Handheld cameras are permitted but no flash devices are to be used anywhere where a cat is present. 
  21. Media producers must obtain consent from Oz Feline Fair Management and any participants if content will be used for commercial media, broadcast or for sale or reproduction.
  22. All attendees understand that they may be filmed or photographed whilst attending Oz Feline Fair. Upon entry attendees grant permission to Oz Feline Fair and its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, and on-line/multimedia purposes by and for Oz Feline Fair and CatJAC Events Pty Ltd. Attendees agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from Oz Feline Fair or CatJAC Events Pty Ltd in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Attendees release, discharge, and hold harmless, Oz Feline Fair and CatJAC Events Pty Ltd and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video.
